Seasonal Hostel Manager Wanted for HI USA Truro

This seasonal position runs from June 24th to September 12th. We're seeking individuals who can commit to the entire season, as continuity and reliability are crucial for providing exceptional service to our guests.
Pay is $21-22 per hour (DOE) and accommodation is provided
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all hostel staff, buildings, and operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences throughout the season.
- Lead by example, working alongside the team to maintain a friendly, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with the National Revenue Director and Regional Group Sales Manager to optimize bookings and revenue.
- Plan guest activities and promote community engagement.
- Manage inventory, handle cash transactions, and maintain financial records.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and courteously.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Customer service and public relations experience.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with reservations systems.
- Physical stamina to perform daily tasks and occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Hostel/lodging experience and independent travel preferred.
