Hostel Jobs

Hello.  My name is Adam and I have been the manager for a hostel in Leadville, Colorado USA for 5 years and I am currently purchasing the hostel from the current owners as they will be retiring in December 2009.  I will be looking for a full time worker to join me at the hostel and to start work on or around January 1, 2010.  Job duties will include but not limited to:  Housekeeping help, cooking and dishwashing help, generalized maintenance help, shuttling guests if needed, as well as managing while my wife and I are gone.  I will be working hand in hand with the worker as it is a 2 person job.  The hostel currently has 41 beds and sleeps 64.  The job will be a paid position as well as on-sight housing available.  As reported in Men's Journal, Adventure, and Backpacker Magazine we are the #1 backpacker hostel in the USA.  We do offer guided services in these categories as well:  mountain-climbing, rock-climbing, gold-panning, snowmobiling, and connections with local backpacking and dog-sledding companies.  We are looking for long-term employees that may be interested in staying with us as we own and operate this hostel and look to open another hostel in Taos, New Mexico within 3 years.  Please email me through hosteljobs.net.  Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you in the future.
