Hi There!

I read with great interest about the vacancies at many of the hostels on this site and I would absolutely love to come and work at your hostel! Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is gavin, I'm 25 and from Dublin, Ireland. I am a fun, lively, outgoing guy with a great sense of humour and personality and I love to get out there and meet new people and learn about different countries and their cultures etc.

I have never actually worked in a hostel before but I have stayed in many backpacking hostels before during the course of my life so I am familiar with the culture that exists within these establishments. My employment history has seen me pursue roles in Management and Administration as well as some Customer Service-based roles. In this regard, I feel that I would be ideal for this position as I am confident in my own ability and can deal confidently with customers in a friendly manner and strive to offer my help and assistance wherever possible.

I am not afraid of hard work nor would I have a problem with cleaning or cooking or security as part of my duties so this would not be a problem. I love to travel and get to see a country's lifestyle, history and culture. If you are willing to offer me a start date in the middle of May 2010 or towards the end of 2010, I would definitely consider the opportunity to go and work at your hostel. As stated in the subject line, any country is possible, irrespective of the continent it may be located in.
